Policies & FAQs

At Hollie’s Massage Studio, we’re dedicated to creating a welcoming, respectful space where you can fully relax and receive the care you need. Please take a moment to review our policies and frequently asked questions before your visit.

Studio Policies

Arrival Time

Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to check in, use the restroom, or discuss any needs with your therapist. Late arrivals may shorten your session time.

Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Less than 24 hours: 50% of service charge

  • Less than 3 hours: Full service charge

  • No-shows: Full service charge

Sickness Policy

If you’re feeling unwell—including symptoms of a cold, flu, or other contagious conditions—please reschedule with cancellation policy in mind.

Respectful Environment

This is a professional massage practice. Any inappropriate behavior will result in the immediate end of the session, with full payment charged.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal sessions are available for clients 12 weeks pregnant or more, or with a doctor’s note. We use special positioning for safety and comfort.

Minors

Clients under 18 must have a parent/guardian sign a consent form and a parent may be present during the session.  Clients under 12 a parent/guardian must be present. 

Gratuity

Tipping is always greatly appreciated but never expected. You’re welcome to tip in cash or through your payment method.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I book an appointment?
    You can book directly online through our Book Appointment page, or reach out via phone at (815) 534-5892.
  • What should I wear?
    Wear what feels comfortable. You’ll be appropriately draped at all times. For Reflexology sessions, wear loose clothing for access to your feet, hands, and face.
  • Can I choose the pressure level during my massage?
    Yes! Let your therapist know if you prefer light, medium, or deep pressure—and feel free to request adjustments during your session.
  • Do you offer gift certificates?
    Yes! You can purchase digital or printable gift certificates on our Gift Certificates page.
  • Do I need to undress completely?
    Only to your comfort level. You’ll remain covered with a sheet and blanket at all times, with only the area being worked on exposed.
  • Do you accept walk-ins?
    We operate by appointment only to ensure every session is personalized and unhurried. Same-day bookings may be available depending on availability.
  • What if I’m late?
    Arriving late may result in a shortened session to keep on schedule for the next client. Full service price still applies.
  • Can I request a specific therapist?
    Yes! When booking, you may request your preferred therapist, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
  • Is tipping required?
    Not at all—though always greatly appreciated. Tips can be given in cash or through your payment method in our checkout process.
